Description

There are 1000 sets of the Animals of Tasmania suite, with each set containing 5 prints. Each print measures 29.7 centimetres wide by 42 centimeters deep.

The original drawings were executed on Arches hot-pressed watercolour paper and reproduced with high fidelity digital scanning and photolithographic printing using light fast inks onto 140gsm Saxton Chardonnay acid free archival quality paper.

Each print has been individually inspected by the artist and cleared of any imperfections, such as blemishes or faults in the grain of the paper, and accidental ink marks that can sometimes occur during the printing process.

The artist has then signed, dated and assigned an individual edition number to each print, beginning at 1 of 1000 and continuing to 1000 of 1000. All prints in each set bear the same edition number.

Identification

A typographic configuration incorporating the Animals of Tasmania publishing mark, the name of the illustrated species, and the name of the artist appears immediately below the printed image on each print. The edition number of each plate is recorded in pencil to the left of the typographic configuration, with the artist's signature and year of publication, also in pencil, appearing to the right as illustrated below.
